Kuranda

Kuranda is a small highland village located 14 miles northwest of Cairns in Queensland's Atherton Tableland. The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway's cable cars lift you on a 5 mile journey across the top of the rainforest canopy from just outside Cairns into Kuranda. The Kuranda Scenic Railway provides an alternate way of returning to Cairns, by train through the rugged dividing range filled with waterfalls, lakes, caves and gorges.
